Participant recruitment for the research study: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners’ Acceptance and Use of Telemental Health Since the COVID-19 Pandemic
Hello! I am conducting a research study on psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners’ acceptance and use of telemental health. In this study, telemental health is defined as the use of visual and audio videoconferencing technology to hold two-way, synchronous, interactive meetings between patients and mental health care professionals.
Participation in this study is voluntary. If you choose to participate, you will be answering survey questions about your thoughts on telemental health. The anonymous survey will take around 20 to 30 minutes of your time. Please consider answering this survey if you meet eligibility requirements. If you know someone who may meet eligibility requirements for this study, please forward this recruitment flyer to them.
You are eligible to participate if you:
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Can read and write in English.
- Have been licensed as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner since at least the year 2020.
- Are currently providing care to patients in your psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner role in the United States.
- Used telemental health to care for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Are planning to continue practicing in your role as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner for at least the next 12 months.
If you are interested in participating in this research, read the study’s consent form. If you have any questions or concerns, email the principal investigator at [email protected]. This research study’s protocol and recruitment methods have been approved by the IRB at Villanova University.
