The University of New England (UNE) School of Nursing (SoN) seeks an Inaugural Program Director to establish a Master’s of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree program. UNE, among the Northeast's fastest-growing private universities, integrates health sciences and liberal arts, serving over 11,000 students onsite and online. SoN, part of the Westbrook College of Health Professions, hosts Maine’s largest BSN and DNP Nurse Anesthesia programs, securing significant extramural grants for Maine's vulnerable populations. UNE prioritizes interprofessional education through its Interprofessional Simulation and Innovation Center (ISIC) and Center to Advance Interprofessional Education (CAIPE).The PMHNP program addresses Maine’s rural mental health provider shortage, emphasizing socioecological principles and social determinants of health. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialty Director - The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University

The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University is seeking a Program Director/Specialty Director for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. The Director is an organizational champion, strategic leader, and tactical contributor to the School of Nursing (SON). Provides internal and external leadership for the Program or Specialty that advances the NHWSN mission, vision, and values. Working closely with the Associate Dean for Education develops goals and metrics and collaborates with internal and external strategic partners integral to achieving outcomes. Leads program/specialty faculty team, student engagement, and delivery of high-quality education. Develops and evaluates internal and external metrics and feedback systems for continuous improvement. Develops and evaluates a strategic plan for increasing visibility, reputation, and national ranking of the program/specialty. Facilitates the programmatic/specialty strategic initiatives with faculty, staff, students, alumni, practice partners, and the community. Serves on or leads various school, university, and professional committees, advisory groups, taskforces, or projects as appropriate. Works closely with the Associate Dean for Education, Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion, Admissions, and Student Affairs, Program/Specialty Directors, Program Administrators, Curriculum, Progression, and Program Evaluation Committees, and faculty to ensure program outcomes and continuous improvement, including collaboration on course offerings, program changes, and student experiences. Collaborates with leaders of NHWSN departments.
