Nurse Educators Who Teach Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing in the Classroom, Clinical, and/or Simulation SettingDear Nurse Educator, My name is Dr. Briana Snyder, and I am a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at Towson University. I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study about nurse educators who teach psychiatric-mental health nursing in the classroom, clinical, and/or simulation setting. If you are an adjunct, part-time, or full-time nurse educator who is currently teaching psychiatric-mental health nursing in any accredited nursing program in the United States at any level (diploma, associate, baccalaureate, graduate, etc.), you are eligible to participate. If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete an anonymous, online survey that asks you about your teaching practices. You will also be asked questions about whether or not you currently teach dissociative disorders content to nursing students, how important you believe it is to teach dissociative disorders content to nursing students, barriers to teaching dissociative disorders content to nursing students, and similar questions. The entire study should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
