Submit an Application 

One award/grant of up to $3,000 will be awarded.

Qualitative and/or qualitative proposals, and proposals for pilot and/or developmental research, may be submitted for the grant.

Purpose
To support psychiatric nursing research.

Eligibility:  Applicant must…

  1. Be a registered nurse with a current license
  2. Have a Masters or a Doctorate in nursing, or be a student in a graduate nursing program
  3. Be a current member of ISPN
  4. Submit a completed research application package (see instructions below)
  5. Be ready to implement research project when funding is received

Research Application Package includes:

  1. Application form 
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Research proposal (see Proposal Guidelines)

Requirements of grant recipient:

  • Institutional Review Board approval must be obtained before the release of funds.
  • Project must be completed within one (1) year of funding
  • Grant recipient agrees to provide a written summary (2-3 pages) of the completed research — due 90 days following the end of the one-year funding period
  • Grant recipient agrees  to submit an abstract to the ISPN Conference for consideration for presentation at an ISPN conference  within the next two years post-funding
  • Grant recipient agrees to acknowledge the support of ISPN in all presentations or publications
  • Grant recipient agrees to provide photo for promotional purposes

All application materials must be received by the deadline, to be considered. Only complete applications will be considered and incomplete materials will not be reviewed.
