Texas Health HEB's Springwood Adult Behavioral Health Hospital is currently seeking a part time, day/night shift RN/Registered Nurse to join the team to support our Bedford location at 2717 Tibbets Dr. Bedford, TX 76022. Salary Range: Min. $26.50/hr. to Max. $50.82/hr. – based on relevant experience. Work Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week, weekends and holidays required.Your work Schedules would be on Team 3. Every Tuesday – night shift 18:45 pm-07:15 am and every Friday – day shift 06:45 am-19:15 pm.

Texas Health Springwood Behavioral Health Hospital HEB is a fully licensed psychiatric and addiction facility on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. Texas Health Springwood offers a full continuum of inpatient, outpatient and partial hospitalization services for adolescents' age 13 to 17 and adults 18 and older. Texas Health Springwood is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, certified by Medicare, and licensed by the Texas Department of Health. The hospital is operated by Texas Health Behavioral Health, the leading behavioral health care provider in North Texas. The essential job duties of this position are:

• Delivering care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assessing the patient
• Planning the care of the patient
• Intervening as appropriate
• Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporating age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiating action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintaining continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred;
• Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) – required upon hire
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training– required upon hire
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 6 Months Required or CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days Required and ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 12 Months Required
• One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• Psych/Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred


• Computer skills
• Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
• Serve as a role model, be an intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and a coordinator for quality patient care.
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment is required.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Milwaukee County Jail is recruiting for a PMHNP to provide psychiatric services to our patients. The PMHNP work under supervision of the Chief Psychiatrist in accordance with established Wellpath policy and procedures as well as within the state guidelines. The candidate will maintain any documentation required by state or facility guidelines to demonstrate compliance with supervision requirements. The candidate will provide psychiatric consultation, diagnostic, and treatment services to the identified patient population, including medication management and crisis intervention services. One year of clinical psychiatric experience preferred. Must be currently licensed by the Wisconsin licensing board to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Faculty Positions (Full-Time and Adjunct)

The Liberty University School of Nursing is seeking qualified full-time or adjunct Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) faculty members to support a 100% online program with the use of some synchronous distant technology. Liberty University is a private Christian institution with the mission of "Training Champions for Christ" located in Virginia. Qualified candidates will have:

  • Graduate degree in nursing with preparation as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Doctoral degree preferred- DNP, PhD or EdD.
  • Current and unencumbered Virginia Registered Nurse and APRN license for full-time position, adjunct positions must hold a U.S. state RN and APRN licenses.
  • National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in a direct-care setting preferred.
  • Candidate will be professional with excellent personal communication and computer skills.
  • Current certification in American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Provider with AED.
  • Candidate will be able to support a faith-based curriculum.
