Summary: This webinar will dive into the intersection of xylazine, fentanyl, and substance use disorders by exploring the impact these substances have on individuals, communities, and healthcare systems. You will gain insight into the pharmacological aspects, risk factors, and interventions related to xylazine, fentanyl, and substance use. The webinar will also touch on stigma in how we discuss and document interactions and care of patients with active substance use and harm reduction techniques. This event aims to empower nurses and communities to address the challenges posed by these substances through knowledge, awareness, and collaborative efforts. 

Contact Hours: This activity has been submitted to Georgia Nurses Association for approval to award one contact hour. Georgia Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
